Site Costs:
Our first report classified the soil as "P. Overall our site cost came in at a little over $39000. This included:
H1 class waffle foundation system
Additional brick course to perimeter due to slab upgrade
Upgraded steel reinforcement to internal beams of the slab
Upgraded slab top mesh
Concrete piering to slab
Additional concrete pump for piering
Engineering deisgn for concrete piers
Building inspection for concrete piers
Final soil test after demolition refunded back $2061.00.
Other Costs incurred (in addition to the building contract):
Gas Abolished by AGL $61.52
Electricity Abolished by United Energy $172.11
Sewer line capped $605
Express Demolition: $12100 + $1320 for additional asbestos found inside house. They also arranged our Security Fence hire: $350 for 3 months. Once asbestos was removed, the physical demolition took about 4 days. The second soil test was booked in, and was done the same week.
